Rick has been a journalist, editor and publisher for
over 18 years, working on a variety of weekly and
monthly magazines serving the industrial, public and
commercial sectors.

He was Technical News Editor on The Engineer and
Features Editor on the municipal engineering weekly
Surveyor. Rick has edited a number of publications
covering manufacturing, processing and metals
manufacture.

Coming from a research background – Rick has a PhD
in Metallurgy – he has spent most of his publishing
career making complex science and technology
understandable and accessible to non-specialists.

Rick also has considerable knowledge of contract
publishing and managing web-based projects.
